LEGO®: Building The Bowes Museum (Ad)


I was invited along to the brand new LEGO®: Building The Bowes Museum which is on from 25 May – 13 October 2019. If you have a Lego fan in your house you need to go visit!


The Bowes Museum a LEGO® wonderland, with 15 of the most loved objects including the Silver Swan recreated by Brick This’ Steve Mayes,  you can have a go at making them too!

Bowes Museum is located in Barnard Castle, County Durham, DL12 8NP.

A full price list can also be found here. I have included the price of a family ticket below, this is to enjoy unlimited entry at The Bowes Museum and temporary exhibitions all year around.

The dedicated Lego room (Creation Station) was amazing! So colourful and vibrant with lots of different areas for the children to build a masterpiece, they even had a Lego house, Willow made a little sofa! We, of course, had to see who could make the tallest tower out of us both too.

With some seriously impressive builds throughout the museum and a fun trail to find the 18 exhibits with stickers to collect along the way.

Additional areas to play with Lego, including walls to add your name with the bricks. They also had fun at a Lego printing workshop down in the vault. The Bowes Museum has a range of activities planned throughout the summer including  Lego Late nights, Lego stop motion animation and much more. All details of these can be found here.

How amazing is the Bowes Museum made from Lego! The girls loved all the attention to detail like the revolving door at the entrance.
