A visit to Mother Shipton’s in Knaresborough today, the girls had a chance to help Acorn the toymaker in his workshop build some wooden toys, have stories with the wonderfully energetic Holly Berry, they even had a little sing-song with her.
A visit to see Santa in his cozy grotto, but not before meeting chief elf Chesnut who had us all involved in some festive fun, we then made our way to see Santa himself and the girls received a gorgeous husky soft toy each for being so good. Santa had a lovely chat with the girls and the smile on Willow’s face at her gift 😍 who doesn’t love a soft toy! Chief elf even waited for the girls for another catch up to find out all about their visit to see Santa.
The children also receive an activity pack each as you enter with a letter to Santa to complete, a Christmas wish to fill in and hang on one of the trees at Mother Shipton’s, as well as a little bag for the children to fill with reindeer food. There is also a lovely little post office to enter and stamp your letter to Santa before posting it off to the north pole.
Lots of great photo opportunities within this Christmas experience. The decor is beautiful.
You will be pleased to hear the marquees are heated, as we start to really feel the chill now. Inside the marquee, you can also purchase a snack/drink as well as being able to purchase a gingerbread man to decorate (additional cost of £2 each), the girls really enjoyed decorating them.
