Today the girls had to make a difficult choice when they woke up. Would they join Team Mermaid or Team Pirate?
Once they had chosen we headed for Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary on entering the girls picked up a team trail leaflet each and began the task of finding all of the hidden treasure within the tanks. At the end of the visit, the girls got a certificate, medal and a special reward.
The Pirates and Mermaids event is on now at Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary between the 25th May and the 8th September.
Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary is located at
Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary

There is so much to see and do within the Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary, the girls had a brilliant time exploring each area, you have the chance to walk amongst the penguins, come face to face with a loggerhead turtle as you walk through the ocean tunnel as well as a variety of talks and feeds to watch throughout the day, you can visit the seal hospital as well as being mesmerised by the jellyfish plus they even have a turtle hospital, my two love naming a turtle and bringing it back to full health.
Of course, we got to see our favourites as we explored the centre we love watching the seals who seemed to be enjoying the sunshine a lot! The penguins put on a show as always. I’m always mesmerised by the jellyfish as well.
