Willow was keen to donate something to charity after Christmas so after talking through some options with her, she liked the idea of giving her hair to a charity that makes wigs for children and young adults who have lost their hair due to cancer and other illnesses. We went along to the hairdressers and Willow had her very long hair cut to a bob. We will be posting the hair to the charity The Little Princess Trust and Willow would love it if you could donate a spare £1 if you have one to the charity too.
Here is the link to a Just Giving page I have set up on behalf of Willow https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/willowshaircut
Willow’s older sister Lily was so moved by this she sat with tears in her eyes watching her sister get it cut yesterday morning I asked her was it the hair going making her sad and she said no it’s just so lovely. I must admit I had a lump in my throat too.
If you too are thinking of donating hair for The Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. You can find out all the information you need to donate and where to send your hair too over on the website http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/
